Lindsay Lohan has never been one to keep her opinions to herself, and her latest opinion makes her look a little bitter for losing out on a possible role in The Avengers.

The actress has been revealing a lot about herself on her OWN show, Lindsay, and she claims she was hoping to be cast in the film. But, because her manager didn't work hard enough for her, "an unknown" was cast instead.

"If I don't work in a film, he passes it to Vanessa Hudgens; he passes it one of his other clients," Lohan said, according to MTV. "Every day I'm not on a film set, I'm wasting my talent because that's what I was born, and live, to do."

While Lohan doesn't reveal who that "unknown" is, there are very limited options. Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow are both in the film, but are hardly unknowns. Plus, Paltrow first appeared in the Iron Man franchise. The only other major female role is played by How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders. Smulders plays Maria Hill, the character who is second in command to Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. Unless Lohan was talking about roles like "NASA Scientist", "Young Girl", or "Waitress", chances are Smulders is the one she is talking about.

Smulders doesn't appear in the show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., mostly because of her commitments to HIMYM. But if Lohan had been cast, her career would be making a very nice comeback, with a multiple-film contract and a TV show.

Lohan doesn't exactly say whether she had an actual chance at the role, or even if it was Smulders' role she was hoping for. But, in just a few sentences, Lohan managed to insult Smulders, Vanessa Hudgens, her agent and The Avengers franchise in general. You can bet at least one of the people involved will be commenting on it very, very soon.
