VIDEO: Behind the scenes of Kim K. and Kanye's Vogue cover
Kim Kardashian has been hoping for the cover of Vogue for months, and it looks like it's finally happening. See the behind-the-scenes video.
Kim Kardashian finally has her wish (or was it Kanye West's wish?) — she will be featured on the cover of Vogue magazine next month. Kardashian won't be alone, though — her fiancé Kanye West joined her for the photo shoot, shot by Annie Leibovitz.
The Vogue cover comes just a few months after West reportedly told the world that Kardashian deserved to grace the cover, but she was overlooked month after month. According to The Washington Post, there was even a rumor that editor Anna Wintour flat-out said no. But apparently those were all rumors, because Kardashian is indeed on the cover.
"You may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue's cover," Wintour told The Daily Mail. "He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true."
Wintour called Kardashian and West "both charming and touching," and the magazine also released an accompanying video of the shoot. The magazine took the idea of the much-anticipated wedding between Kardashian and West and put them on the cover in what looks like wedding attire.
The video also has her in a few different white wedding-looking gowns and West in a long black coat, in many different scenes and poses. The couple is seen walking along an abandoned highway, hugging their daughter North West, posing against a car and in a formal portrait shoot. Kardashian of course does what she can to show off her massive engagement ring during the video.
Kardashian and West both thanked Vogue and their fans for the opportunity on Twitter on Friday (although Kardashian was obviously more excited).
The article and photo shoot will appear in the April issue of Vogue, so the interview isn't public just yet, but it's likely to feature some classic Kim Kardashian thoughts.
