Double trouble: Twins for Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky welcomed twin boys on Thursday, joining older sister, India Rose, who is almost 2.
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky welcomed twin boys on Thursday, giving two new siblings to their almost-2-year-old daughter, India Rose.
Confirming in January that the blond Spanish beauty and the Thor star were expecting twins, the couple first announced Pataky's pregnancy last November. Her rep confirmed the birth to E! News after reports surfaced on Thursday that the actress and her husband were at the hospital getting ready for the birth of their twins.
During her pregnancy, Pataky was photographed several times flaunting her baby bump, showing how adorable she looked with her growing belly. The sweet couple was seen on the red carpet of the 86th Annual Academy Awards, where Pataky glowed in a gorgeous blue floor-length gown.
Pataky also looked super-cute when she painted her baby belly like a life preserver for a recent photo shoot in Malibu, where she also enjoyed a casual lunch date with Hemsworth.
Both the Rush actor and Pataky have gushed about being parents and each thinks the other is doing an amazing job with their daughter. The 30-year-old Australian actor added that fatherhood is one of the best things he's experienced.
"It's the greatest thing I've ever been a part of," Hemsworth told E! News. "When I am at work, she's [daughter India Rose] what I'm thinking about, and when I'm not at work, she's who I'm hanging out with."
The proud father also claims being a dad helped to bring out the kid in him.
"That's what's so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things," Hemsworth told Parade magazine recently, "and how you can spend hours just being with someone. It's amazing."
