Scooter Braun breaks his silence on Justin Bieber's arrest
Things just got a whole lot worse for Justin Bieber after his arrest. Could he be losing his manager Scooter Braun now, too, if he doesn't clean up his act?
However, the man who is in part credited with the "Beauty and the Beat" singer's success is his manager Scooter Braun — who discovered the pop sensation in 2008 — and he is not turning his back on Bieber in his time of need.
Braun has reached out to Bieber to remind the 19-year-old star that he loves and cares for him.
Taking to Twitter, Braun wrote, ''@justinbieber love you and i will act in the manner of someone who truly cares. that is all I have to say. thanks for all those concerned."
''Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad. (sic)''
Bieber's antics went from bad to worse on Thursday morning when he found himself sporting a new look: handcuffs! The "Baby" singer was apprehended in Miami Beach, Florida, at Pine Tree Drive and 26th Street after allegedly drag racing in a rented yellow Lamborghini, resisting arrest, driving with an expired license and reportedly failing a sobriety test.
According to the Miami Herald, Miami Beach police spokesman Bobby Hernandez told reporters, "He showed symptoms of someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol."
Bieber later posted $2,500 bail — $1,000 for each of the charges of resisting arrest and DUI, and $500 for the license charge — after appearing via video at a court hearing in Miami, Florida.
The Canadian singer wore a standard orange jumpsuit and appeared to look distressed, but he has since left Turner Guilford Knight jail to return to Los Angeles, California, and hopefully will keep a low profile.
Maybe this will be the turning point for Bieber and he'll seek the help he needs. Those close to him have reportedly urged him to get help or they will no longer work with him. A source reportedly revealed to Access Hollywood that Bieber has been given an ultimatum.
The source said, "I was talking to a source inside Justin's camp — this is new. Scooter Braun and others in that camp have issued Justin an ultimatum."
''You'll hear people today say, 'Oh, he's a young guy, he's making mistakes, he's a young kid.' Scooter and his team, they're all past that. They're past that point with Justin."
''Scooter has said to him, 'You've gotta go get help, or I'm done. I'm done with you.'''
