“Santa (Bring Me My Baby)” might just be the single girl’s answer to Mariah Carey‘s “Christmas (Baby, Please come Home).” The song is set to fun, pop-y music and the video is just as perky. Watch as Girl Radicals entertain each other on the ice rink in front of the Staples Center and then throw a girls-only Christmas party, all while appearing to have the time of their lives. Girl time is great, but that’s not what these ladies want most of all. The girls each take time to sing about what they want for Christmas and it all adds up to the dream of sharing their holiday with someone special. Can we get an “amen?”
Interview: JC Chasez talks about Girl Radical >>
Girl Radical is modeled after the new super girl groups that are taking over Asia. The concept is simple to explain: Instead of five talented ladies, why not ten or 15? After all, bigger is better. And it’s common sense that eleven beautiful voices will always sound better than just four or five. Enter the phenomenon and America’s answer to it: Girl Radical.
Each of the skilled singers was selected by two guys who know the music industry inside and out. Girl Radical is actually the pet project of *NSYNC’s JC Chasez and Grammy-nominated songwriter Jimmy Harry, who has written for the likes of P!NK and Britney Spears. That makes them the perfect mentors for the girls and, in our opinion, offers even more incentive to give Girl Radical a listen.
