Cindy Crawford fired for diva behavior by Bruce Weber
Let's chalk it up to one bad day in the life of Cindy Crawford, who was once fired by legendary photographer Bruce Weber. Everyone can be a diva for a day.
Is Cindy Crawford a diva? Well, she might have been a long time ago, according to famed photographer Bruce Weber, who fired the supermodel for her less-than-stellar behavior.
On HuffPost Live on Tuesday, the 67-year-old artist talked about a Revlon shoot the two did together sometime during 1990-2001, when she was under contract with the cosmetics giant.
He shared, "She was so rude to the whole team and crew."
She complained that Weber was paying more attention to the boxers in the gym who were a part of that day's shoot.
Crawford reportedly asked one crew member, "'Why is Bruce photographing those old boxers when he could have been photographing me?'"
That was the final straw for the lensman.
"I didn't really feel for that," Weber revealed. "I walked up to her and asked her, 'Did you say that?'"
He promptly told the model to "get out of here." She holds the title of being the "only model" he has fired during his almost 40-year career.
Of course, time heals all wounds and the two are friends again. Revlon used her as a spokesmodel from ages 23-34, which was a pretty lucrative gig for the model.
The now 47-year-old focuses on her line of home furniture called Cindy Crawford Style. She is also raising two kids, son Presley, 14, and daughter Kaia, 12, with her husband Rande Gerber.
It looks like her behavior is now picture perfect.
