Miley Cyrus adds yet another tattoo to her extensive collection, this time to pay homage to her favorite person, her grandmother Loretta Finley.

More news about Miley Cyrus, however, this time the focus is not on her bizarre and overly sexualized behavior, it's on her extensive collection of ink.

The "Wrecking Ball" singer has decided she wanted to honor her grandmother by getting a large portrait of her tattooed to her arm.

Cyrus is known to be very close with her maternal grandmother Loretta Finley and the pair sought out the help from legendary tattoo artist Kat Von D.

The "We Can't Stop" hitmaker was so proud of Von D's work that she happily took to Instagram on Tuesday night to show off the vintage-styled portrait of her gran.

Cyrus simply captioned the image, "Because i am her favorite & she is mine."

Sorry for the rest of Loretta Finely's grandchildren, but there you have it, Miley is the favorite.

According to MTV News U.S., Finley's favorite refers to her by a pet name 'Mammie' and Mammie apparently regularly goes on the road with Cyrus when she is on tour.

The first image was followed by another, which showed just how much Cyrus loves her grandmother. It was captioned, "Still just as beautiful. @thekatvond look who left the house today :) happy birthday Mammie."

The skilled Kat Von D also decided to post an image of her work on Instagram and was clearly impressed with her patron. Von D wrote, "Love, love, loved tattooing you last night, @mileycyrus! #miniportraittattooparty."

Cyrus has already racked up an impressive number of tattoos, having started her collection when she was just age 17. Some of her more notable pieces include a quote that reads, "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat'' and the words ''just breathe."

Other tattoos range from skulls on her ankles, anchors on her wrists, a dreamcatcher on her shoulder, Roman numerals VIIXCI that symbolize the date her parents met and a Hindu om symbol.

Cyrus will be performing on stage again at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards this weekend. We wonder what we can expect from this performance? Because Cyrus won't let society shut her down...
