Gwen Stefani confirms pregnancy with a well-placed hand
The rumors are true! Gwen Stefani is totally pregnant, and she confirmed it wordlessly with one photo.
A picture speaks a thousand words, or in this case just three: "Yes, I'm pregnant." Gwen Stefani finally confirmed the rumors of baby No. 3 on the way last night with a single well-placed hand on her burgeoning belly.
Stefani and her husband, Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale, were attending the Wallis Annenberg Center For The Performing Arts Inaugural Gala presented by Salvatore Ferragamo when Stefani made the telling move for the cameras.
The singer/fashion icon wore a shimmering steel-gray fringed dress that fell loosely around her new curves, but she made sure to show off her bump at least once by cradling it in one hand.
A source first leaked the news in September, but the couple remained mum until now.
"Gwen and Gavin couldn't be happier," an insider told In Touch Weekly. "She's just trying to focus on resting right now. She wants to make sure that all is well with the baby."
By the look of that bump, Stefani is well into her second trimester — and that's welcome news for a woman who has implied she suffered a pregnancy loss.
"I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn't really work out," she told Marie Claire last year. "So… I feel good with what we've got. Everything works out how it should. You can't plan anything, right? You can try."
Stefani and Rossdale wed in 2001. They have two sons, Kingston and Zuma.
