SXSW 2014 lineup teaser: Just the awesome beginning

SXSW 2014 is just around the corner… in six months! Have you seen the first massive teaser of bands on tap? It’s impressive, to say the least.

HAIM at SXSW 2013

It’s that time, again friends and fellows: SXSW is luring us to Austin with the first teaser of their 2014 lineup. The upcoming SXSW will take place March 11 to 16, 2014. Yes, that’s twice as long as most typical music festivals. Then, again, SXSW is far from a typical festival. For five-ish days, the city of Austin and all its amazing music venues are overrun by music fiends. Bonus: For five-ish nights, those fiends stay in hotels instead of camping in a cow pasture and pretending plumbing has yet to be invented. Those two stipulations alone make for a great festival experience.

Holla! Check out these SXSW hip-hop success stories >>

Once you add in their annual lineup of fantastic new bands from across the globe, it’s hard to remain unbiased. SXSW might be the best festival in existence. To help prove our point, we need look no further than this year’s “teaser” lineup.
