Friday made! Best "Wrecking Ball" parody EV-er
Miley Cyrus just broke Vevo's record for most views in 24 hours. Yikes. At the time this was written, "Wrecking Ball" had over 72 million views. Guess that settles the "Do Americans have any taste?" debate. There is a silver lining in this cloud and you are about to meet him. His name is Bryan Hawn. (This video is super NSFW but if you weren't offended by Cyrus' version, you likely won't be offended by this either.)
There is a God, and he loves us
We can't tell if Bryan Hawn is kidding or not in this parody and we don't really care. It's hilarious and he is gorgeous — two of our favorite things in a guy. He might also be brilliant, being one of the first and certainly the best to parody the most watched Vevo video in 24 hours. That makes him a triple threat. All we can say is this sledgehammer must have been very good in its last life (ditto with the stability ball). Let's thank this boy (and his wrecking balls) by throwing him some well-deserved views, shallst we?
This little parody proves less can be more (unless we're talking about Hawn, and then more is more). Please note the logo in the lower left-hand corner. "Twerk that."
We're calling this Part 1, because it's a little early for quality "Wrecking Ball" parodies (which is why Hawn's was such a clear standout.) Several "Wrecking Ball" parodies are a bit weak and pegging out the lame meter. Please stay tuned for Part 3 — Part 20.
