In less than a year, Jamie-Lynn Sigler gained a new fiancé and a new baby, but it looks like she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her fiancé are the proud parents of a brand-new baby boy. Sigler, 32, delivered their son Beau on Wednesday afternoon, according to People.
“Both mother and baby are doing great!” a rep for Sigler told USA Today.
Sigler and fiancé Cutter Dykstra, a baseball player, were engaged in January, two weeks before announcing the pregnancy. They couple later said they were expecting a son, but The Sopranos actress admitted the baby wasn’t exactly part of their current plans.

“We definitely thought it was going to be a slow relationship process and possibly an engagement — I felt like it was coming — so the baby definitely threw us for a loop,” the actress told People in April.
Like many other pregnant women, Sigler said she was hit with many of the problems that come along with pregnancy, including morning sickness.
“I got hit pretty hard,” she said. “It’s just what everyone said. It’s the first three months. Some people aren’t as lucky and have it their whole pregnancy, but it was really hard. I couldn’t stay up past 7:30 at night. I was nauseous from the moment I woke up until the moment I went to bed.”
But another side effect, a much larger chest, didn’t have her fiancé complaining. She reminded everyone that “he’s a guy. I’m sure he enjoys it.”
Sigler was obviously excited to be a mom, and tweeted about the experience on a regular basis.
I swear I just felt my baby high five me in my belly. Best feeling ever! Now I will be obsessed with repeating this instead of candy crush

The new parents spent a lot of time thinking about what to call their son, and the actress said the name Beau took a long time to decide on, but before making the final decision, they had “a couple of names [we were] toying with.”

“We’ll call him one name one week and one name another week,” she had said. “I think we have our favorite, but you never know. We could change our minds when we meet him.”
It is the first child for both Sigler and Dykstra. Congrats to the new parents!
