Miley releases cover art for Bangerz
Miley Cyrus just tweeted the cover art for her upcoming album Bangerz and it's... well... bangerz.
Miley Cyrus took to Twitter this afternoon to let all of her fans know that the wait is over.
She is finally releasing the cover art for her upcoming album Bangerz, which is due out Oct. 8.
I guess releasing cover art is the new lyric video.
For a second there, I thought I was looking at the soundtrack artwork from the Tom Cruise classic film Cocktail — or perhaps an old Miami Vice beta tape cover.
But the spiky blond hair, lack of pants and face like we caught her "waiting for a line in the bathroom" can only mean one thing: It's Miley, y'all!
As Billboard points out for those of us planning our pop music album purchases in the coming months, Miley's Bangerz will be released one week after Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience Pt. 2, two weeks before Katy Perry's Prism and five weeks before Gaga's ARTPOP.
Miley is set to perform at the VMAs this weekend, and if her Instagram account is any indication, there will be a lot of large teddy bears in our future.
Interesting to see that she will be sitting next to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and in front of T.I. and Girls' Allison Williams. That's an interesting group. Think of the conversations at the commercial breaks.
I'm sure they will be bangerz.
