Jessica Simpson gives birth to baby boy, Ace
Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson are now the proud parents of a baby boy.
Jessica Simpson's daughter, Maxwell, was just seven months old when news broke that her beautiful mama was pregnant, again. Now her baby brother, Ace, is here!
According to Us Weekly, Simpson gave birth to Ace Knute Johnson during a scheduled cesarean section on June 30.
"Ace Knute (pronounced Ka-nute) Johnson has arrived! Mom and baby are doing great," Simpson's rep told Us. "Jessica, Eric and Maxwell are thrilled to welcome the new addition to their family."
It seems like only yesterday, Simpson was accidentally letting out the gender of her baby bump while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel. She was complaining of her awful morning sickness when she let the gender slip.
"The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous," she said. When Kimmel pointed out her fumble, Simpson laughed and shrugged it off, saying, "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"
According the reports, Ace's super-cute middle name is in honor of Ace's great-grandpa, his daddy's grandfather Knute Johnson. Actually, the pronunciation kind of reminds us of John Lithgow's "The Gnu Song." Sounds like Mom and Dad are going to need to add that one to their iTunes library to help fill time spent in Los Angeles traffic jams with Maxwell and Ace!
As for a picture of Ace? Nothin' to see yet! Simpson's Twitter has been surprisingly quiet for the last week. But we'll be sure to keep you posted just as soon as she feels like updating her more than 6 million followers.
