Get Mila Kunis' Oz The Great and Powerful premiere makeup
Makeup artist Tracey Levy wanted to create a "modern and sexy" look with a "bit of mystery" for Mila Kunis at the London premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful. The result? Kunis looked sultry on the red carpet. Like, really sultry.
Tracey Levy used Laura Mercier cosmetics to create Mila Kunis' look — and she shared all the details with SheKnows.
To start, Levy prepped Kunis' damp face with RéVive Intensité Moisture Serum Extrême ($350) to restore and lock in her skin's natural moisture. She followed that up with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer ($32) to keep her makeup looking fresh throughout the night.
Next, Levy added a little Laura Mercier Oil-Free Suprême Foundation in Sunny Beige ($43) to even out the actress' skin tone. She then applied "a touch" of Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-3 ($30) around Kunis' nose and under her eyes to hide minor imperfections. She topped that off with a dusting of Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder in Universal ($35) on the skin and Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder #2 ($22) under the eyes.
To contour Kunis' cheekbones, the makeup pro dusted Laura Mercier Bronzing Pressed Powder in Golden Bronze ($32) to her neck and chest to give her an all-over glow. Afterward, she added Laura Mercier Shimmer Bloc in Peach Mosaic ($40) to highlight the upper cheekbones. She topped off the apples of Kunis' cheeks with Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline ($24) and blended the shade with the existing shimmer.
Levy wanted to give Kunis a pair of "soft gray lavender smoky" eyes to match her dramatic Alexander McQueen dress. First, she prepped the star's eyelids with Laura Mercier Eye Canvas in EC-2 ($26). Then she lightly dabbed Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour in Silver ($23) onto the middle of Kunis' lid to create highlighting.
She smudged Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Amethyst ($24) into the crease and along the top and bottom lash lines. Levy then added Laura Mercier Crème Eye Liner in Noir ($22) to line Kunis' eyes and Laura Mercier Tightline Cake Eye Liner in Black Ebony ($23) along the water line.
For the eyebrows, Levy used Laura Mercier Eye Brow Pencil in Deep Blonde ($22) to fill in the gaps, and she set them with Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel ($20). The stylist finished off the look with two coats of Laura Mercier Faux Lash Mascara ($24) on both the top and bottom lashes.
Levy wanted to keep the 28-year-old actress' lips pretty low-key with such a dramatic eye look. To start, she lightly lined Kunis' lips with Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Naked ($22). Then she used her finger to apply Laura Mercier Sheer Lip Colour in Nude Lips ($22).
The result? Perfection!
