Anne Hathaway's last minute Oscars dress switch
Les Miserables star Anne Hathaway was all set to wear Valentino to the 2013 Academy Awards, but she showed up in Prada! Was it a good choice?
Anne Hathaway decided to go with the "business in the front, party in the back" Prada dress for the 2013 Academy Awards.
And the reviews are mixed.
The pale pink (and satin!) gown showed off Hathaway's incredible body, but the cut was strange at the neckline. Oh, and it also showcased Hathaway's "little Annes," if you catch our drift.
"I didn't know what I was wearing until about three hours a go," the actress said on the red carpet. "This was the one that spoke to me in the end."
Valentino is surely disappointed with the snub, especially since he designed her wedding dress and thinks of her as his "daughter."
We're sure he'll get over it.
The 30-year-old newlywed is having the best year of her life, thanks to her life-changing role in Les Miserables and her wedding to husband Adam Shulman.
"I found my soul mate and we committed ourselves to each other and that's just the best thing ever, and everything else since then, the success of the film and my personal success...this has just been the cherry on top of a wonderful, wonderful dish of vegan ice cream," she told E! News.
