Grand Canyon, Arizona
If you live in the Phoenix area or even neighboring states to Arizona, you should take a road trip to the Grand Canyon. The scenic views on your way to the Grand Canyon area are wonderful, but it's the destination itself that is the most magnificent. If you have never been to the Grand Canyon, it should definitely be on your bucket list, and road tripping is one of the best ways to get there.

New Orleans, Louisiana
