Preppy chic style invades the West
We visited the Waste Management Phoenix Open, an annual golf tournament located in North Scottsdale, Arizona, to see the stylish crowd that flocked to the greatest show on grass to get you inspired for spring fashion.
As expected, we saw a lot of preppy chic fashionistas out at the Open and we loved it. These ladies proved that nothing beats classic stripes, khaki, blazers, and of course, a pair of Sperry's.
Julie is an Ohio native who loves to channel her inner East Coast prep when getting dressed.
She is wearing Hudson jeans, a J. Crew blazer and T-shirt, a Marc by Marc Jacobs crossbody bag, and last but not least, a pair of Sperry Top-siders.
Heather is wearing a navy and white striped button up from Forever 21, dark wash skinny jeans and a pair of Sperry Top-siders.
Heather describes her personal style as easy-going, comfortable and put together, which she definitely accomplished.
Channel your inner East Coast prep with these essentials
by adding some of these pieces to your spring wardrobe.
You can't go wrong with a classic pair of Sperry Top-siders in tan, retailing for $85.
Or, if you are feeling a little bold, try a boat shoe in a fun color like these Authentic Original 2-eye boat shoes from Sperry Top-sider retailing for $125.
And don't forget about striped tops!
You can't go wrong with any of these spring trend options when looking to keep things preppy.
And let's not forget about the blazers:
Women's Linen-Blend blazer from Old Navy for $36 comes in orange or denim.
Striped trim blazer from Forever 21 for $33 is the perfect boyfriend blazer, great for dressing up or down.
Striped knit blazer from Express for $80 is a great spring and summer blazer because of the fabric.
