Heidi Klum's wild style: Glammed up and dressed down
SheKnows caught up with Heidi Klum as she celebrated the launch of her new scent called Shine. If you thought we would get face-to-face with this fashionista without getting her fashion forecast, you've got another thing coming -- and it may or may not be animal prints.
As the star gave us the ins and outs of what it took to create Shine, she showed off some rather shiny jewels on her ears. Her usual Heidi-like glow lingered about -- the one that makes you wonder what on Earth she does to stay looking so fabulous.
"What makes me feel sexy is a beautiful tight dress, a pair of heels... something like this," she told us as we checked out her Thomas Wylde slim-fitting gem of a dress. "Sometimes I like to squeeze myself into a little animal," figuratively speaking, of course, about the animal print dress she was sporting at the moment.
Go print wild
When we asked Heidi what her favorite fall trends were, she was quick to name bold prints. "I think that it's all about crazy prints right now and mixing and matching them." Her Thomas Wylde animal print dress speaks true to the trend as she chats up what seems to be her favorite designer at the moment.
"I have a great new, leopard purse which is also by Thomas Wylde, which I love," she tells us just after naming another fall favorite -- boots. No argument there because one of the best things about the leaves changing are the great boots that hit the retail shelves.
dressing for your lesser days
"I like to mix things up. People say 'Oh the grungy pants with the holes are over,' but sometimes there are those days when you love putting those on," Heidi says, revealing that she's human... if you didn't already know. Sometimes we ladies just can't help but love the grunge.
"They're really low," she says, referringto the jeans, "and they have holes all over the place and I put sneakers on and an easy t-shirt -- I love that too."
