10 Kooky style inspirations from the Teen Choice Awards
The 2011 Teen Choice Awards had many celebs showing off their fabulously funky side with daring, playful and colorful dresses. We chose these top ten styles that brought the most unlikely style inspirations to mind.
Demi Lovato tickled us happy in this vibrant yellow dress. The only thing that came to mind in this happy-go-lucky ensemble was her missing must-have accessory: Tweety Bird.
Divine red vine
Elizabeth Banks looked extra sweet and sassy in her licorice-laden dress. The deliciously shiny shift gave us a sweet tooth for some sugary licorice.
Some like it hot
Taylor Swift channeled Marilyn Monroe a la Some Like It Hot for her Teen Choice Awards ensemble. Although she took a more conservative approach, she still dazzled!
Yellow brick to red carpet
Nina Dobrev looked innocent and shy in this Dorothy-inspired flirty dress. It seemed as though she was looking for the yellow brick road instead of the red hot carpet.
Kourtney Kardashian looked a tad shapeless in this royal blue strapless dress. The girl has bodacious curves on her petite figure, so why hide them with a dress as big as a shower curtain?
Tyra Banks walked the red carpet in this attention-grabbing strapless cat suit. Was she channeling Malin Ackerman as Silke Spectre in Watchmen? It seems fairly accurate.
Crystal Reed looked fierce in this sleek, dark dress that closely resembled the feathers of a crow. This takes animal-inspired looks to a whole new level.
Kaley Cuoco wasn't able to go out with a bang in this dress because she was too wrapped up in this layered material to move. We just can't help but think of rolls of toilet paper when looking at this dress.
orange ya' hot?
Blake Lively turned heads at the Teen Choice Awards in her bright orange leather dress. The Gossip Girl star has impeccable style and her tight-fitting dress only made us want to have a cold, orange popsicle in the midst of this red carpet heatwave.
