Style crush: Hailee Steinfeld is the new face of Miu Miu
Breakout True Grit star Hailee Steinfeld is quickly rising the fashion ranks with her age-appropriate style. Now she's the new face of Miu Miu!
The super adorable -- and Oscar-nominated True Grit actress -- Hailee Steinfeld was just named as the new face of Miu Miu! The 14-year-old phenom is set to appear in ads for the Prada sister label starting this August.
"We formed a relationship with them at the SAG Awards," Steinfeld's stylist Karla Welch told The Daily Beast. "Miu Miu is such a perfect fit for her. Throughout awards season, they were the dresses she wanted to wear."
And we can't think of a more girly -- and age appropriate -- brand for the burgeoning superstar. The teen eschews the body-baring styles worn by Hollywood starlets for frilly -- yet edgy -- outfits.
"For other girls, if that's their thing, that's their thing," Steinfeld said of the boob-and-butt baring trends. "It's just not the way I feel comfortable dressing."
She doesn't even have her ears pierced! "My mom won't let me until I'm sixteen," she told Teen Vogue.
We're keeping an eye on this emerging fashionista -- check out some of our favorite Hailee Steinfeld looks from recent red carpets.
Steinfeld rocked a satin Miu Miu dress at the Berlin Film Festival -- complete with a swan! Luckily, this wasn't as out there as Bjork's famous Oscars swan dress. We love it!
Cotton candy perfection
Steinfeld didn't win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar, but she won our hearts with her bouncy tulle Marchesa dress. She even rocked red Converse sneakers with her dress during the after-parties!
Steinfeld earned a lot of high fashion cred when she wore this striped Prada creation to the Screen Actor's Guild Awards. Vogue Contributing Editor Andre Leon Talley even praised Steinfeld, saying she was "spectacular in blazing Pop Art Prada stripes. What made it so right for the teenager was the just-out-of-bed tousled hair (the style of the evening) looking so natural on her, deft makeup, and no bling. She didn't try too hard."
Belle of the ball
Steinfeld held her own among fashion's elite at the 2011 MET Costume Gala. She rocked a modified Stella McCartney dress with Nicolas Kirkwood shoes.
