Mariah Carey is putting it all out there on the new issue of Life & Style magazine — she’s showing off her very naked belly! Which celeb did naked & pregnant the best?
Mariah Carey is on the cover of this week’s Life & Style – but she’s not donning the latest maternity fashions. Instead, Carey is doing what a few other A-list moms have done in the past: She’s showing off her naked body!
Carey, 42, is set to give birth to twins any day now – and the photos make her impending motherhood pretty obvious.
“I am so glad we took these pictures as a keepsake and a reminder of this time in my life,” Carey told Life & Style. “Right now I’m counting down the days till we meet the babies.”
Carey isn’t the only one to drop her clothes for a magazine shoot — these celebs have all taken these iconic shots.
Actress Demi Moore pioneered the pregnant photoshoot craze with her August 1991 Vanity Fair cover shot by iconic celeb photographer Annie Leibovitz. Moore, pregnant with daughter Scout, was criticized for over-sexualizing pregnancy.
Supermodel Cindy Crawford graced the Jun 1999 cover of W magazine — and she gave birth to daughter Presley just a month later.
Another 90’s supermodel — Claudia Schiffer — graced the June 2010 cover of German Vogue with a very pregnant belly. Can you believe she was nine months along at that point?
Britney Spears grew up before our very eyes, so it was a little weird to see a pregnant Spears nude on the cover of a 2006 issue of Harpar’s Bazaar. The singer was pregnant with second child, Jayden James, and posed for an intimate photo spread with son Sean Preston and some very provactive outfits.
Christina Aguilera wasn’t about to be outdone by Spears’ pregnant cover, so she did the same on the January 2008 cover of Marie Claire. She gave birth to her son, Max, soon after the issue went on sale.
Precious actress – and Mrs. Robin Thicke — Paula Patton posed for an adorable pregnant cover photo for the May 2010 issue of Ebony magazine. This is definitely our fave out of the bunch — it had an intimate, not sexual, feel to it.
