Woman got 11 beautiful tattoos in a week for a YouTube video

You'd think that every possible "100 Years of" video has probably been made by now.

These videos have been pretty popular this year — and for good reason, because they serve as a reminder that fashion and style go in cycles and everything that's old is eventually new again.

Next in the series is one you never knew you wanted to see, because who would willingly get 11 different tattoos on their body in a span of a week in the name of good web content? Ohio woman Casey Lubin, that's who. The model in Cut Video's latest project, 100 Years of Beauty — Americana Tattoo, did just that, courtesy of tattoo artist Clae Welch.

Each tattoo represents the style of a famous artist in every decade since 1900, like "Cap" Coleman (1930s), Sailor Jerry (1950s) and Nikko Hurtado (2010s).

Lubin didn't have any tattoos before, as far as we could tell, so to go from zero to 11 has to be a big shock. But she seems pretty pleased with the final project, as she should.

"I think it's great that we can use our body as a canvas and it's really cool that you can make art a part of your body," she said of her week-long transformation. "If your body is your temple, then you should be able to decorate it the way you want, right?"

Hopefully she'll still love them in 20 years, because laser tattoo removal is expensive and incredibly painful (take it from me!).
