5 Ways to get your skin ready for summer

As the days get warmer and warmer, you’re a little closer to donning sandals, sleeveless tops and summer dresses. Before you do, get your skin ready for the fresh air with these summer skin tips.

Buff off that dried-up skin by exfoliating your whole body, especially super-dry spots like your feet. You can do this with an exfoliating cloth or brush and pair it with an exfoliating scrub in the shower — just remember to use something a little more gentle on your face. Afterwards, don’t forget to moisturize with a good-quality, nourishing skin cream — it’s important to replenish after shedding your winter skin.

Book a day at the salon or spa to give yourself a head-to-toe skin tune-up. Treatments like a nourishing body wrap, a pedicure and a gentle facial will help get your skin back on track. You should also consider booking a waxing appointment. Removing that unwanted body hair isn’t as much of a priority when you’re all covered up, but now that swimsuit season is on its way, you’ll want to take care of it.
