This low-maintenance morning routine will keep you fresh all day

My morning routine is pretty simple. I'm not a super-high-maintenance girl.

Mostly I just focus on my go-to beauty essentials so I can breeze out the door in 20 minutes or less. I'm pretty casual with my look, but that doesn't mean I don't have a set routine. I'm always such a fan of those "make-up bag dumps" that other bloggers do (I'm such a voyeur), so today I wanted to share one of my own.

Because I recently moved and changed climates completely, I had to revamp my entire morning ritual. Let's just say my skin was less than thrilled about the change in climate. It was a trial-and-error process, but I'm really pleased with the results now that I've solidified my routine.

Smash Box Photo Finish (, $36); Elizabeth & James Nirvana (, $75); Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (, $43); Stainiac Hint of Tint (, $17); Nars Bronzing Powder (, $38); Paula's Choice Normalizing Pore Cleanser (, $11); Elizabeth Dehn for One Love Organics (, $38); Tarte Cheek Stain(, $30); Carefree Acti-Fresh Pantiliners (, $3)

I start with a pore-normalizing cleanser from Paula's Choice, then once my skin is dry, I follow with a primer and tinted moisturizer.

After that, I add a touch of bronzer because I'm pale, and some cheek stain for a hint of color. I'm all about the natural look that stains give, so I also use a lip stain.

As for my skin, I smooth on vitamin C body oil. I only use a few drops, keeping my skin moisturized and fresh all day. Another great secret is using Carefree Acti-Fresh Pantiliners; they offer a fresh feeling all day long. Then, last, a spritz of my favorite perfume and I'm out the door. This simple beauty routine keeps me fresh and lovely throughout the day.
