Retro Fourth of July makeup

Show off your patriotic style with this retro eyeshadow design.

t The Fourth of July is a fun way to show off your patriotic style, and why not do it with a little retro flair. Here is a wearable look that can be paired with any color scheme to make a flirty statement.

t

tStep 1: Using an angled brush and NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, map out the outline for our shape. Draw a line extending out from the lower lash line, then connecting right above the crease.

t

tStep 2: Fill in the entire lid to create a base.

t

tStep 3: Apply any white eyeshadow (such as M.A.C. White Frost) from the inner corner halfway to the lid. This will set the cream base to prevent it from running and creasing.

t

tStep 4: Use a pencil brush for more precision, and apply a blue eyeshadow at the corner and fade it into the white. To help blend the contrasting colors together, use a light hand while fading the blue into the white. At this point, to perfect the shape of the cut crease use a Q-tip or a small concealer brush and outline the edges to make them sharp and perfect.

t

tStep 5: Apply white liner in the waterline and rim the top lid with a cat liner.

t

tStep 6: Apply mascara and lashes.

t

tStep 7: To finish off the look, apply a red lip. To make it even more festive apply a red glitter on top of your lipstick.
