Product review: Yes to Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream
We're testing Yes To Carrots' Intense Repair Hand Cream. Find out how it lives up to our expectations!
Name this product:
Yes To Carrots Intense Repair Hand Cream (yestocarrots.com, $6)
What the product claims to do:
This hand cream is part of the brand's new Intense Repair collection and is formulated specially for extra dry skin and the tough winter months. It features Yes to Allantoin and Soybeans for intensive moisture and protection and Yes to Primrose Oil for attacking dryness.
How it worked for me:
I was thoroughly impressed with this hand cream. After several months of dry winter skin and a few different hand creams I'd been testing, I was excited to finally find a formula that offered light application and heavy-duty, yet gentle results.
How this product looks and feels:
The packaging is simple and easy to squeeze product out of. The cream feels light on hands, not sticky or heavy like some brands.
What I liked about this product:
A lot of times people think you need a heavy, pasty formula hand cream to see any results. Personally, I prefer one I can easily rub into my skin. That being said, I adore the way this lotion deeply moisturizes hands but goes on light and smooth without leaving your hands feeling like they're wearing a mask.
Describe the results you saw over time:
Each time I used this cream I noticed dry spots disappear. The effects last quite a while as well.
I would recommend this product for:
Women of all skin types but particularly women who like a light cream application and/or those who appreciate safe ingredients in their beauty products.
How I felt about the scent of this product:
Per its name, the cream has a slight carrot-y scent. It's neither terribly strong nor entirely unnoticeable. It's something you'll come to not even notice as you use the product consistently.
