Emma Watson couldn't decide if she wanted to wear pants or a dress to the Golden Globe Awards so she wore both!

Emma Watson Golden Globes pants and dress

It's not often that you see an A-list actress hit the red carpet in both pants and a dress, but British bombshell Emma Watson somehow managed to pull it off at this year's Golden Globes and look really, really darn good while she was at it.

The 23-year-old absolutely wowed in a bright red, basically backless Dior Couture dress paired with black, cropped skinny pants and matching Roger Vivier heels. She swept her hair back in a sophisticated bun (no doubt to show off that flawless backside!) and rocked a pink-ish/red pout to go with her gorgeous gown.

Funnily enough, in a recent interview with Teen Vogue, she confessed to getting nervous to walk the red carpet.

"Every now and again, I feel a bit wobbly before hitting a red carpet. So it’s always nice to bring friends, especially because I love to see their reactions,” she told the magazine. "It’s not normal to get out of a car and have, like, 80 people screaming at you, and so when they say, 'This is crazy,’ it makes me feel slightly more sane.”

Sane or not, Watson definitely didn't look like she had any butterflies tonight. We have a sneaking suspicion she'll be setting off a whole new red carpet trend full of fabulous pant/dress combos.
