Friday's Fashion Fails: Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Scherzinger
Oops... even celebrities get it wrong sometimes! We're telling you why Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Scherzinger's fashions fell short in our weekly feature. Learn from the stars' sartorial slip ups!
We love Jennifer Lawrence, but just because she plays heroine Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games franchise doesn't mean she needs to wear a cape to the Catching Fire premiere in London. Jen chose this Christian Dior gown for the world premiere of her latest movie, which looks to be inspired by an ice cream cone.
From the vanilla-colored silk to the multicolored beaded accent on the skirt, Jen reminds us of a soft serve cone with sprinkles in this creation. The actress, who's also a spokesmodel for Dior, usually looks amazing in Dior gowns, but this one is odd for a few reasons. It doesn't really fit properly and the asymmetrical cape on the back adds bulk to her slim silhouette. Plus, the material is bunching at her waist.
The final verdict? J. Law doesn't look very comfortable in this number and we don't blame her. We do, however, love her cute new pixie haircut. It's right on trend with the other Hollywood Jennifers like Jen Aniston and Jennifer Hudson who also made the cut!
Attention Nicole Scherzinger: Halloween is over, so why are you still wearing a catsuit? This getup would be good if she was headed to a Pussycat Dolls reunion performance, but the judge of The X-Factor UK is actually going to the anniversary of a sushi restaurant in this. Seriously!
Nicole donned a skin-tight Julien Macdonald jumpsuit with serious cutouts that showed she was wearing no underwear as she celebrated the one-year anniversary of Sushi Samba restaurant in London. The 35-year-old star definitely has an amazing figure, but does she really need to show off so much of it for a restaurant party?
The final verdict? Nicole also went commando when she dressed as a sexy cat for Halloween, which is totally fine, but this definitely isn't an everyday look. Save it for when you're on stage, not stepping out to dinner.
