If you're in a beauty rut, try different products and makeup colors for a whole new look. Consider these fabulous fall makeup trends that you shouldn't miss.

Zac Posen Fall 2011 - Bright eye shadow

Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2011 - Cherry lips

Cherry lips

Deep burgundy lip color is hot for fall. However, if you want something a little lighter (and less vampy), try on a shade of cherry. At the Diane von Furstenberg show at Fall Fashion Week in New York, we saw a juicy cherry lip color that was just divine. Makeup artist James Kaliardos for M·A·C used M·A·C's Cherry lip pencil and lipstick in Runaway Red.

Smoky metallic eyes

For a special night out, the smoky eye look is just perfect. This fall, use metallic shadow in shades of bronze or silvery-blue instead of charcoal to create this sexy look. Learn more about how to create the perfect smoky eye with these seven simple steps.

Dark blue nails

Navy and midnight blue nails are all the rage for fall. Chanel, Nars and RGB all came out with beautiful shades of blue nail lacquer this season. If you love the look of blue nails, partner your polish with deep blue eyeliner too, instead of black.

Bold brows

Thick, strong brows dominated the fall runways, and we're seeing the look everywhere this season. One thing to keep in mind: bold brows should be natural, not wild. Pluck away strays weekly and use brow powder or pencil that is just one shade darker than your natural brow color.

Bright shades of eye shadow aren't reserved only for summertime. This fall, experiment with brilliant eye shadow colors, from aqua blue to fuchsia. When you wear bright eye shadow, keep the rest of your makeup very neutral. If daring eye shadow is too much for you, just try colorful eye liner instead.
