3 Young celebrity fashion icons
Young celebrity fashion icons like Lauren Conrad and Hilary Duff have some even younger competition right on their heels. Let's take a look at three up-and-coming young fashion icons that are 21 and under.
She's only 13 years old, but Elle Fanning is definitely a rising fashion icon. She told People earlier this year that she's inspired by Twiggy, obsessed with Marilyn Monroe and considers Alexa Chung her own style icon. She's Rodarte's favorite new muse and one of today's hottest young celebrities. Elle Fanning definitely seems to be evolving into a true fashion icon.

Disney star Selena Gomez has been a fashion idol of teenagers for quite a while. And now, her look is admired by women of all ages. Growing up right in front of our eyes, Selena is often one of the best dressed ladies on the red carpet and even when she's casual, she always looks effortlessly chic. Being Justin Bieber's girl will definitely help keep the attention on 19-year-old Selena, but her sophisticated fashion sense is certainly something to talk about as well.

Hermione Granger is all grown up at 21. Emma Watson became the face of Burberry in 2009 and is the creative director of a fair trade fashion label, People Tree (see her modeling for the company in the middle picture above). "I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren't many options out there," she has said. Though Harry Potter launched her to fame, it's her sense of style that is turning heads these days. From modern, flowing dresses on the red carpet to skinny jeans and ballet flats on the city streets, Emma Watson is one of today's up-and-coming celebrity fashion icons.
