Having red hair, you already stand out from the crowd. Choose the right eye shadow colors to ensure you aren’t standing out for all the wrong reasons. Red hair comes in many different shades, and the trick is to highlight your hair’s undertone with your eye shadow colors.
For light redheads
For redheads with blonde undertones, peach, beige and gold work great and can warm and brighten your whole face. Wear three shadows from the same color family. Here’s a combo to try: L’Oreal Golden Sunset ($5) on the lid, Bare Minerals Gold Sunset ($13) in the crease and Bare Minerals In the Buff ($13) on the browbone. To take this look into evening, use a light bronze in the crease.
For dark redheads
Use those same colors, and use some brown or green in the crease or on the lid. Try using a light peachy brown on the lid, a gold under the brow and a rich emerald green in the crease for a show-stopping look.
