Dr. Elan Ziv, MD is a urogynecology specialist with over 30 years of medical experience. He is the founder and CEO of ConTIPI Limited and ConTIPI Medical, developers of disruptive technologies that serve as the basis for disposable, non-invasive and intuitive solutions for women with various Pelvic Floor Disorders. He has served in this role since 2003. ConTIPI’s first device for stress urinary incontinence was cleared by the FDA as a prescription and over-the-counter device, and was sold to worldwide feminine hygiene leader Kimberly-Clark Worldwide, Inc., in 2013. The product is available for purchase in stores across the U.S. under the brand name Poise-Impressa.
Dr. Ziv received his medical degree from Tel Aviv University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Rabin Medical Center, one of the most prominent medical facilities in Israel. He then had a fellowship in Urogynecology at St. George’s Hospital in London, under renowned urogynecologist Prof. Stuart L. Stanton.
In addition to leading ConTIPI Limited and ConTIPI Medical, Dr. Ziv was the director of the urogynecology service at the Assuta Medical Center in Tel Aviv for 19 years, until 2014, and still maintains a successful urogynecology practice. He also serves as a member of the OBGYN Steering Committee for Maccabi Health Services, one of the largest health organizations in Israel.
