Meet the Hunt family

The creative Hunt family -- he is a musician, and she is a writer -- needs some space to work at home. Their dream has always been to convert their garage into a studio/office, without sacrificing all of the space they currently use for much-needed storage. The Hunts have imagined a conversion that would be convenient and workable for them: They envision a double door leading to the garage from their adjacent front room. The home air conditioning unit is currently housed in the attic near the garage, so they hope it would be relatively simple to add a vent to the new space and have the existing air conditioning cool the proposed studio/office area. So the Hunt family's wish list includes office and studio space cooled by the existing air conditioning system and an entrance to the new space from their front room, all while retaining an adequate separate area within the new design to meet their storage needs.
