Cheryl To Sue Over Harvey Romance Claims
The Cheryl Cole vs MC Harvey drama continues as Cheryl releases an official statement saying that she will be taking legal action against Now Magazine for printing articles stating that she had a secret romance with Harvey.
A few weeks ago nobody would have guessed that there was any connection between Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole and former So Solid Crew rapper MC Harvey, but now the pair have got the whole country wondering exactly what went on between them. In last week's issue of Now Magazine an interview was printed with Harvey claiming that he and Cheryl had a secret romance when she was getting over her divorce with footballer Ashley Cole. Cheryl Cole denied the reports via Twitter, but Harvey wrote back that he had emails that proved he was telling the truth. While the emails have not been seen by the public, Now Magazine organised for a lawyer to look at them and confirm that they were evidence of a romance between the two music stars. However, Harvey started to backtrack this week, admitting in an interview on Choice FM that he and Cole only had what he described as a "communication relationship," conducted via email and text. Cheryl is still not letting him off the hook, though, and has released a statement saying that she will be taking legal action against Now Magazine. Cheryl Cole follows stars such as David Beckham by going to court over false information printed in a celebrity magazine, but as David's $25 million lawsuit was thrown out of court, Cheryl will be hoping that her own lawsuit doesn't turn out to be quite so expensive.
