Tulisa Goes From North London To Hollywood!
Tulisa Contostavlos takes a leap from the U.K. urban scene to the Hollywood A-List as she attends celebrity parties and gets a glam new look while recording her debut solo album in LA.
It seems like such a long time ago that Tulisa was the ladette lead singer from British hip-hop group N-Dubz. Although still officially a member of the group, Contostavlos has made a name for herself as an X Factor judge and has now travelled to Los Angeles to work on her hotly anticipated solo album. Tulisa Contostavlos has said that she plans to move away from the sound of her N-Dubz hits for her solo career, and even suggested that she might go in an indie rock direction. However, with "Let The Sun Shine" hitmaker Labrinth and producers who have worked with Rihanna reportedly collaborating with Tulisa on her new music, it's unlikely to be too far away from her urban roots, even if it is a more polished, American sound. The album is yet to be named but it does have a release date: May 7, 2012. It's not all been hard work for Tulisa Contostavlos while she's been in the U.S. She's also been spotted getting a new 'do at a glamorous L.A. salon, and she attended a pre-Grammy party where her friend Jessie J was in attendance, along with big name stars such as Mary J Blige and Paris Hilton. Maybe Tulisa will find herself a Hollywood boyfriend to help her get over her recent split with N-Dubz bandmate Fazer?
