Betsey Johnson

Fashion designer Betsey Johnson was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 but kept her diagnosis quiet -- confiding only in her daughter, Lulu. After undergoing a successful lumpectomy and radiation treatment, Johnson has since become a big philanthropist in fighting the disease. She serves as honoring chairperson for the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative.
