Angie and Brad donate $2 million to charity

September 2006Proving that they are both as generous as they are gorgeous, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have each donated $1 million each to the charity Doctors Without Borders. The organization provides medical treatment to people in countries plagued by war and poverty. Angelina's political advisor, Trevor Neilson, spoke to the press about the charity and expressed the actress' admiration for the work that they do. "In the most troubled parts of the world -- places that much of the world has abandoned -- MSF (Medicins sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders) is always there," Neilson said in a statement on Jolie's behalf. "I have seen these brave men and women working in war zones and horrific conditions and I deeply admire them." The sexy twosome also plan to spend time in storm-ravaged New Orleans. Pitt recently donated $200,000 to help sponsor a contest aimed at finding building designs to help rebuild the city.
