A Caipirinha punch made with lemons in place of the classic limes.
Ingredients
- 24 lemons, washed
- 1 cup superfine sugar
- 6 quarts crushed ice or small ice cubes
- 1 bottle cachaco (1 liter)
Directions
- Chop the lemons into eighths. Add to the bottom of a very large bowl or cooler and cover with the sugar. Use a potato masher or the back of a wooden spoon to crush the lemons, continuing until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in the ice and cachaca.
