Cinnamon and yam biscuits.


  • 2 3/4 cups biscuits mix (retain 1/4 cup to flour the board with)
  • 1 (17 ounce) can yams in syrup, undrained and mashed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • Pinch cinnamon


  1. Combine everything in a large bowl. Knead until well combined. Continue kneading on a floured surface until dough is no longer sticky. Pat out to 1/2-inch thick and cut out biscuits.
  2. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes.
