Cinnamon and yam biscuits.
- 2 3/4 cups biscuits mix (retain 1/4 cup to flour the board with)
- 1 (17 ounce) can yams in syrup, undrained and mashed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- Pinch cinnamon
- Combine everything in a large bowl. Knead until well combined. Continue kneading on a floured surface until dough is no longer sticky. Pat out to 1/2-inch thick and cut out biscuits.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes.
