This is a wonderful sauce to pour over a hot crab salad.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Directions
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Blend in flour.
- Slowly stir in milk and salt.
- Cook until slightly thickened.
- Cool slightly.
- Add mayonnaise and stir until well blended.
- Pour over a hot crab salad.
