This creamy cocktail was developed originally by Gustave Tops in Brussels in 1950 and not in Russia as the name implies. However, with one of the main ingredients in the blend being vodka, one can understand the logic behind its label.
- 1 ounce vodka
- 1 ounce Kahlúa
- 1/2 ounce cream
- Place a cocktail glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and then add the vodka, Kahlúa and cream.
- Shake the mixture vigorously for 35 seconds and then pour into the prepared cocktail glass; serve immediately.
