This unique blend of ingredients combines fresh ginger and dried apricots with bourbon and apricot brandy to create a smooth, sweet and fiery cocktail in one.


  • 1 1-inch knob fresh ginger, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 2 dried apricots
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 ounces bourbon
  • 2 ounces apricot brandy
  • 4 ounces water


  1. Place the apricots, ginger and the sugar into a cocktail shaker and muddle well to combine.
  2. Evenly divide the mixture between 2 rocks cocktail glasses and then pour in 2 ounces of bourbon and 1 ounce of apricot brandy into each glass. Stir the mixture to combine and then fill with ice.
  3. Top each cocktail with 2 ounces of water, stir well to combine and then serve immediately.
