This warm and hearty breakfast is full of soluble fiber and will keep your energy levels up until lunch.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup chopped pear
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons honey
Directions
- Bring the water to boil in a medium saucepan, and then add the oats and the chopped pear.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for the time suggested on package directions.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle with the flaxseed and cinnamon, and then drizzle with the honey.
