Warm Cherry Sauce is delicious over waffles.


  • 1, 8.75 ounce can dark sweet pitted cherries, reserve syrup
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons port wine


  1. Heat cherry syrup and cornstarch in a small pan. Add wine. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Cook one minute. Add cherries. Cool slightly. Spoon over waffles.
