Sour cream coffee cake with a delicious walnut crumb topping.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- TOPPING:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix together the sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Stir in the melted butter.
- Combine the baking powder and flour and then stir into the batter. Mix well.
- Spread into a 9-inch square baking dish.
- Combine all the topping ingredients together and spoon over the batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
