Sour cream coffee cake with a delicious walnut crumb topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix together the sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Combine the baking powder and flour and then stir into the batter. Mix well.
  4. Spread into a 9-inch square baking dish.
  5. Combine all the topping ingredients together and spoon over the batter.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
