Vegetable Stir Fry is a nice side dish for an intimate dinner for two.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces broccoli
- 3 ounces bok choy
- 1 ounce mushrooms
- 1 ounce water chestnuts
- 2 ounces pea pods
- 2 ounces celery, chopped
- 1 ounce carrots, shredded
- Gravy: 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
Directions
- Cut up vegetables and put in 3 quarts boiling water. Cover and cook for five minutes. Drain.
- For Gravy: Bring 3/4 cup water to boil; add remaining ingredients. Stir constantly until thickened. Add vegetables to gravy. Serve.
