Double pie crust recipe.


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup solid shortening
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup ice water


  1. Mix together the salt and flour. Use a fork to add small amounts of the butter and shortening to the dry mixture. Use ice water to moisten the dough.
  2. Shape into two balls and wrap with wax paper. Refrigerate until ready to roll.
