Tuscan Chicken Legs with Fettuccine

All you need with this is a Salad of mixed greens.


  • 1 pound chicken legs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 can tomatoes cut up
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 4 cups hot cooked fettuccine


  1. Rinse chicken and sprinkle with garlic and pepper.
  2. Add the oil to a skillet and heat over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes or until lightly brown.
  4. Stir in the tomatoes, oregano and basil.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.
  6. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
  7. Serve over the fettuccine.
