Tuna Rice casserole is a great dish anytime when you crave something light and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/2 cup onions, diced
- 1/2 cup green peppers, diced
- 2 teaspoons margarine
- 2, 7 ounce cans tuna, water packed, drained
- 1, 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- pepper to taste
Directions
- Cook rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking, saute onions and peppers in margarine until soft.
- Mix all ingredients lightly; place in a non-stick baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until top is lightly browned.
