Find a fish mold and try this unusual appetizer. Tuna Mold can be decorated with olives for the eyes and slivered almonds for the scales. Don't be a chicken, try it.
Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 1 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 package unflavored gelatin
- 3/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- black olives, slivered almonds
Directions
- Dissolve gelatin in 1/4 cup hot water. Mix ingredients together and put into a greased fish mold overnight.
- Remove from mold and garnish. Olives for eyes and almonds for the scales.
